Slipping through the cracks

Thanks to the attentive Pat Martin (the proud manager of Charge To the Light Brigade) we have another reported death.
Anne Francis died at the beginning of January. She is on the Hunters (aka Dennis Barnidge) roster. She was good for 20 which vaults Dennis into a commanding second quarter league.
I don't know what it is about Dennis's touch but it sure seems like he should be wearing a hood and carrying a scythe.
The updated standings look like this:
The Hunters: 68
Brother Paul: 39
Everyone else: 0

Aretha is not dead...yet

Despite rumors to the contrary the Queen of Soul has yet to check out. Between her and Zsa Zsa it's been quite a teasing season so far. Both were about to meet St. Peter only to find the magic that kept Brett Michaels alive and worming his way into skanky girls hearts (among other things).
For the record Aretha says all is well. Zsa Zsa, within a whisker of being legally dead in September, is reportedly interested in hopping all 26.2 miles of a marathon after surgery to remove part of her leg below the knee.

Standings as the quarter nears its end

With Mick Karn kicking the bucket last week we now have two teams that have scored points.
The Hunters, managed by Dennis Barnidge, are in the lead with 48 points.
Brother Paul Ratliff is sitting on a healthy 39 from Elizabeth Edwards.
Everyone else: doughnuts baby (or bagels depending on your breakfast choice).
Second quarter ends at the stroke of midnight on Jan. 31.
As always you can add and subtract people from your roster for a mere $3 a move...trades are always free!
